'Oh snap, you have a gator on your foot'

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Scary moments in South Florida were caught on camera after a fisherman ended up with an alligator attached to his foot.

Nino Alvarez said he was fishing near a canal in Fort Myers when he suddenly felt a bite on his foot.

Cellphone video shows Alvarez struggling to remove the alligator that inflicted the bite. He said he used a knife to pry himself free.

Alvarez credited his boot for taking the brunt of the bite.
