ORLANDO, Fla. – Researchers from the University of British Columbia say certain types of video games could help bring gamers "out of their shells."

During the study scientists found that games like "Pokemon GO" encourage gamers to leave their home and interact with other people.

Researchers found that those who were successful had stronger social skills, prompting those who want to succeed to be more outgoing.

The findings were published in the journal Personality and Individual Differences.
