WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Legoland Florida is making “space” for its newest attraction.
The theme park on Tuesday announced details for its new space-themed indoor roller coaster attraction.
According to a news release, the coaster will immerse families in a LEGO galaxy filled with excitement and innovation, marking the resort’s most technologically-advanced ride to date.
“This is more than just a ride! It’s a fully immersive mission that starts the minute guests enter the building,” said Blake Boyter, senior project manager at Merlin Magic Making. “From liftoff to landing, the result is LEGOLAND Florida’s most ambitious attraction to date — built for explorers big and small.”

The new coaster will launch from the LEGOLAND SPACEPORT 885, named after the original LEGO Space Scooter set #885.
It is the first new roller coaster inside the main Legoland Florida theme park since its 2011 debut, signaling a new era of adventure for young space explorers.
The space-themed area will include:
- The ultimate indoor coaster experience, propelling guests on an interactive LEGO space mission.
- Orbital Outpost, a themed retail shop offering space gear, souvenirs, and LEGO sets.
- A covered, story-driven queue area inside LEGOLAND SPACEPORT 885 for families to engage and prepare for launch rain or shine.
- DUPLO TOT Spot, a shaded play area for children ages 1 to 4 featuring DUPLO bricks, vehicles, characters, and a photo opportunity.
The new coaster is set to launch in 2026. Construction began two years ago in the northernmost corner of LEGO City. More details, including the official ride name and grand opening date, will be announced as the launch approaches.
The indoor coaster experience will also debut at LEGOLAND California Resort in 2026.
