ORLANDO, Fla. – If you’re thinking about visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios next year, you may just catch the coolest band in town: The Electric Mayhem.
Disney on Thursday dropped new details for the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, which will feature “the Electric Mayhem and the high-speed hijinks of The Muppets” in 2026.
“The Electric Mayhem are headlining their biggest Hollywood concert ever! Anyone who’s anyone is in attendance to witness Animal, Dr. Teeth, and the rest of this groove-tastic group rock the house down. There’s just one little problem: the band is nowhere to be found!” Disney announced in a release.
The ride will take guests behind-the-scenes inside the recording studio, where the Electric Mayhem is “cranking out some seriously rocking tunes.”

Scooter will try his best to convince the Electric Mayhem to stop their jam session and get to their fans across town.
“With the help from our friends at Muppet Labs and a very fast limousine, we’ll take a twisting, turning, and screamingly fun road trip across Hollywood to reach the concert in time. The iconic scenery and landmarks of Tinseltown will feature a Muppet twist,” Disney said.
As you’re on your journey to Hollywood, you’ll hear iconic hits from the Electric Mayhem.
The iconic guitar outside the attraction will not go anywhere and will feature “a vibrant and psychedelic new design” toward the bottom and the piano motif at the base “will feature a golden key as a nod to a certain far-out band leader,” Dr. Teeth.
Disney announced last November that the Muppets would take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith on Sunset Boulevard. The coaster retheme marks the first-ever Disney ride to feature The Muppets.
It has not yet been announced when the final date will be for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith.
This update also comes just a couple months after Muppet*Vision 3D permanently closed in the park.
The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is just one of several new attractions rolling out in Hollywood Studios. Earlier this year, the “Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” show debuted at the newly-reimagined Sunset Showcase theater and it was announced Monstropolis from “Monsters Inc.” will take over the former Muppets Courtyard to bring Disney’s first-ever suspended roller coaster.
