PORT EVERGLADES, Fla. – Aboard the Disney Destiny, two lounges pay nods to iconic characters with spellbinding sips and wicked décor.
The Sanctum, Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge dedicated to the mystical world of Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange. The atmosphere is rich with magic and mystery, featuring red and gold accents inspired by Doctor Strange’s Cloak of Levitation, which is proudly displayed alongside other mystical artifacts.
“It is a multi-space. We have trivia, live music and, of course ,our bartenders are here to entertain,” said Benjamin Van Curen, Beverage Operations Manager for Disney Cruise Line.

The design draws from Doctor Strange’s New York Sanctum, with carpet patterns echoing his prized medallion collection and a circular bar backdrop mimicking the chamber’s iconic skylight. This skylight glows with color-changing lights, symbolizing the powerful forces guarding the lounge from supernatural invasions.
Guests of all ages can enjoy a magical menu of mocktails, cocktails, spirits, and coffees, including the interactive Mirror Dimension glass with electrifying dust and the Circle of Cosmos served mysteriously in an upside-down glass. For a sweet finish, the signature stuffed waffle filled with custard cream or mixed berry compote is a must-try.
Just a short stroll away, the adult-exclusive De Vil’s Piano Lounge channels the fabulous villain Cruella de Vil from Disney’s “One Hundred and One Dalmatians.”
The lounge’s Hollywood Regency style bursts with Cruella’s signature red, black, and white palette, complete with a glowing fiber-optic Cruella that appears and disappears behind a spotted piano.
You’re going to see the lovely pianist playing tunes, probably ‘Cruella de Vil,’ and then Cruella herself appears intermittently, throughout the evening, just like that moment in the movie when she appears in the doorway.
The drink menu at De Vil’s is as bold as its namesake. There’s the Fashionista, blending freeze-dried strawberry and banana-infused Patrón Añejo Cristalino Tequila with banana liqueur and fresh lime juice. Or opt for the Fearless Sir Galahad, a zero-proof cocktail featuring non-alcoholic bourbon, maple syrup, bitters, and aromatic smoke.
On Nov. 20, the Destiny sets sail on its inaugural voyage, celebrating a Disney heroes and villains theme with four- and five-night cruises to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
The Destiny is the third ship in Disney Cruise Line’s Triton class, alongside the Wish and Treasure, which sail from Port Canaveral.
