KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Spring is in bloom at Gaylord Palms Resort.
Running March 6 through May 10, the 65-acre resort in Kissimmee is celebrating the spring season with floral and Easter displays, scavenger hunts, and photo ops.
For its spring celebration, Gaylord Palms is also unveiling Palms Honeycomb Lager, brewed by Crooked Can Brewing Co. in Winter Garden. The crisp, golden lager is made with honey harvested from the resort’s on-site apiary.
Below is a breakdown of all the highlights:
- Bloom Light Show
- Animated LED light curtains above the atrium display pastel flowers and spring imagery each evening.
- Best vantage points: throughout the atrium and select atrium-view room balconies.
- Eggspression Garden and atrium floral display
- Horticulturists transform the 4.5-acre atrium with more than 1,000 daffodils and tulips.
- Eggspression Garden features larger-than-life painted eggs, gazebos, and photo spots.
- Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny appearances
- Photo opportunities on select Saturdays and Sundays, March 7–April 5.
- Palms Honeycomb Lager debuts
- New 5.0% ABV lager brewed by Crooked Can Brewing Co. using honey from Gaylord Palms’ on-site apiary.
- Available at most resort restaurants, bars, and lounges.
- Sunshine Splash Bash (poolside DJ parties)
- DJ-led music and interactive poolside fun at Cypress Springs Water Park on select dates.
- Cypress Springs Water Park features
- 3-acre water park with seven water slides, two pools, a surf simulator, a kids’ playhouse, and an action river.
- Garden Gnome Getaway scavenger hunt
- Guests use a clue booklet to find pint-sized gnomes hidden throughout the atrium trails.
- Springtime Animal Encounters
- Complimentary wildlife programming each Saturday at 5 p.m., with hands-on education about Florida species.
- Dive-In Movies at Cypress Springs Pool
- Select evenings at 5 p.m.; families can watch films from in or near the water.
- Wildlife Rescue AR game
- Interactive scavenger hunt using a free smartphone app and augmented reality to find 12 endangered animals and learn conservation facts.
