ORLANDO, Fla. – Power up at Universal Orlando Resort this spring as Super Nintendo World kicks off a limited-run celebration tied to “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.”
Starting March 10, coinciding with MAR10 Day, and running April 13, guests can level up with movie-themed activations at Universal Epic Universe and at Universal CityWalk. Yoshi will appear for meet-and-greets inside Super Nintendo World, offering photo opportunities for fans.
Chef-crafted treats echo the film’s cosmic theme. The Rosalina cupcake pairs blue velvet with blueberry cheesecake filling and lemon buttercream, topped by a chocolate crown and edible star. Galaxy popcorn, a multicolored berry-flavored snack with edible glitter, will come later in the run.
Exclusive merchandise includes interactive Luma shoulder pals in blue and yellow that light up, make sounds and interact when brought close together. Items are expected to be limited and may sell out.
CityWalk will host a tunnel-style photo installation inspired by the movie’s starry pathways. Universal’s on-site cinemas are scheduled to screen The Super Mario Galaxy Movie beginning April 1.
