The ride had a soft opening on Friday, creating long lines with waits up to five hours.

Riders will be kept busy during the wait with interactive games, including playing with jewels -- like miners -- to pass the time.

The ride features first-of-its-kind vehicles mounted in cradle-like pivots that allow the vehicles to swing back and forth during its twists and turns.

The five-car train has a cart that moves alone through the mine, hills and Snow White's cottage.

The ride marks the final completion for the Fantasyland expansion, which began in Septmeber 2012.

The expansion project cost more than $400 million.
