A jury has begun deliberations in the upstate New York murder trial of three former corrections officers accused in the fatal beating of an inmate.

A prosecutor told a jury that three former upstate New York prison guards on trial in the fatal beating of Black handcuffed inmate were part of a “gang” that took part in an act of of “sheer, unimaginable brutality.”.
