A Port St. Lucie police sergeant who was shot in the face about a month ago has just walked out of a hospital.

The agency says Sgt. Erik Levasseur is still in critical condition at an area hospital after the incident on SW Lake Park Drive, just west of I-95 and Tradition Parkway Monday evening.
