Cullen Detamore, of Winter Park, was following the fire truck down Lakemont Avenue, right across from the Winter Park Hospital emergency room. Since Detamore could not stop quickly, witnesses said the teen tried to make a sharp right turn alongside the truck but lost control. "He took the corner so fast, the tires slipped out from underneath the bike and he went right underneath the truck," said witness Gary Johnson. The teen slid under the fire truck and was run over, according to FHP. "He should have maybe just run right into it.
