A Central Florida immigration attorney said her client, who is a DACA recipient, has been transferred from Alligator Alcatraz to the Glades County Jail.

People held at the brand new Florida immigration detention center that officials have dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz” say worms turn up in the food, toilets don’t flush and floors flood with fecal waste.

A Central Florida immigration attorney said she’s running into issues representing her client. She said the DACA recipient is currently being detained at Alligator Alcatraz.

Defense attorneys Phillip and Josephine Arroyo say their law firm is now handling more cases involving legal immigrants facing deportation.
