A small town in Tennessee courted national publicity a century ago when it recruited a local teacher to challenge a state law banning the teaching of evolution.

The jury began deliberations Wednesday in a class-action lawsuit filed by “Sunday Ticket” subscribers claiming the NFL broke antitrust law.

FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – Republican Rick Staly has been declared the winner of the Flagler County sheriff race. The sheriff leads more than 300 Flagler County Sheriff’s Office employees who serve a community of more than 95,000. He then served 23 years in the Orange County Sheriff’s Office before being promoted to undersheriff. Staly began leading the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office in 2017. Although he is running as a Democrat, on his Facebook page, he reminds people living in Flagler County that’s he’s a candidate for all.
