The Associated Press has released its All-America team, featuring four Ohio State players among 10 first-team picks from the Big Ten.

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida man is accused of decapitating a hamster and leaving its body in a box near the road he lives on not long after he purchased it from a pet store, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said a woman who lives in the area was walking along 27th Avenue NE on Jan. 5 when she noticed a small pet store box discarded along the road and found the dead hamster inside. She said she’s found five other boxes within the past year that also contained “sadistically mutilated” small animals, records show. Deputies said he admitted to buying the hamster and providing a false name on the sales record. Ad“Animal cruelty can never be justified,” Collier County Sheriff Kevin Rambosk said.

The Chinese-owned app has come under intense scrutiny in Australia after President Donald Trump threatened to ban it from the United States on national security grounds. Committee chair Jenny McAllister, an opposition senator, said the Home Affairs Department should have spoken to TikTok as part of its security investigation. TikTok director of public policy for Australia and New Zealand, Brent Thomas, said the business did not participate in the investigations. The TikTok executives said they first heard of the outcome of the investigations from media reports of Morrison’s comments, although they had since received government confirmation. The Australian TikTok executives did not directly answer when McAllister asked if the U.S. deal would make TikTok safer for Australian users.
