The Artemis II astronauts are more than halfway to the moon.

In a series of tweets posted early Saturday morning, the man in charge of the Russian space agency Roscosmos said the country’s cooperation with other nations aboard the International Space Station will not be restored until “illegal sanctions” from the U.S., Canada, European Union and Japan on Russia are lifted.

OTTAWA, ONT For the first time in its 31-year history, the Canadian Space Agency will have a female president. The government announced Thursday that longtime public servant Lisa Campbell will take over as head of the agency. Campbell has spent the last two years as senior executive for Veteran Affairs Canada. Prior to that, she spent three years as the assistant deputy minister for defense and marine procurement where she led the organization acquiring Canadas military and marine equipment. Established in March 1989, the Canadian Space Agency is responsible for managing all of Canadas civil space-related activities.
