Some parents in one of Central Florida's largest school districts are calling for the superintendent to resign after a paraprofessional admitted he had "concerning" thoughts about students.

The Florida education commissioner penned a letter in response to how Seminole County Public Schools handled a situation with a paraprofessional who self-reported “concerning thoughts” toward a 6-year-old student.

A Sabal Point Elementary paraprofessional resigned after self-reporting “concerning thoughts” to a school resource officer, according to Seminole County Public Schools.
