Tropical Depression Nine has become Tropical Storm Imelda.

We’re currently watching two active systems in the tropics and both are worth paying attention to over the next few days.

Tropical storm conditions are expected to reach Central Florida by Sunday night.

Coastal conditions will worsen Sunday into early next week, with rough surf, high rip current risk, gusty winds up to 40 mph, and scattered heavy rain.

All eyes are on the tropics this weekend and rain chances are on the rise for Central Florida.
