A man died after his kayak capsized during a guided tour of Turkey Creek in Brevard County, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

Approximately 3.19 million gallons of wastewater were released due to a sewer main break in Palm Bay, according to the city.

After dealing with a significant sewer main break, Palm Bay said the leak was contained but residents are urged to avoid Turkey Creek and nearby waterways.
