March is here. That means the final countdown to the official calendar start to spring is right around the corner. Mother Nature is wasting no time setting the stage for not one, but potentially two gnarly storm systems that will be capable of heavy snow on the north side and multiple tornadoes on the south side

After a rainy conclusion to February, March has arrived. Today was a rather pleasant day as well. It looks like this weather set up will be the rhythm we follow for the foreseeable future as spring settles in across the region.

Comfortable conditions continue in Central Florida as a warming trend and rain chances move in through the week.

Yesterday the bulk of Florida saw generous amounts of rain in areas that needed. Today, a different story. While rain is still anticipated, it comes in a more classic form. The sun will shine through the early afternoon, ramping up surface temps. Once the atmosphere is energized, storms are likely to pop.

Scattered showers return with a few thunderstorms possible in our area.
