Trooper Steve On Patrol welcomes ride-along guest, talks community relations

CASSELBERRY, Fla. – Trooper Steve On Patrol had a ride-along guest on Monday.

Getting to know your local police department takes agency and community initiative. When both the community and a department are focused on gaining knowledge, then results happen.

I welcomed Cpl. Juan Saavedra, of the Casselberry Police Department, who’s newly appointed to the community relations position.

Saavedra is really trying to take a deep dive into his community and bring awareness to what the department has going on.
