ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – You’d have to be completely disconnected not to know what’s happening this weekend: the Red Bull Roller Coaster Tandem Obstacle Course Challenge is taking over Central Florida.
Teams are gearing up for a high-flying, pedal-pumping test of balance, strength and creativity, and we’ll be right in the middle of the action.

To give you some inside perspective, I’ll be sitting down with professional wakeboarder Meagan Ethell ahead of the big event. When your athletic ability is as extreme as hers, you’re exactly the type of competitor Red Bull looks for when selecting judges. That’s right – Ethell isn’t riding the course this weekend, she’s helping decide who masters it.

Ethell is no stranger to the world of adrenaline. With multiple championships and a career built on pushing limits, she knows what it takes to stand out in a sport defined by risk and reward. During our conversation, I’ll be asking her what she’ll be watching for from competitors on Saturday and maybe learning a little bit more about how her passion for wakeboarding connects to her role as a judge.
It’s not just about tricks and stunts; events like this celebrate creativity, teamwork and the ability to perform under pressure. That’s what makes this challenge so exciting, and why I can’t wait to bring you behind the scenes with someone who knows extreme sports better than most.
Join us as we get an inside look at Red Bull’s latest adrenaline packed event, hear from one of the judges who will help crown a winner, and learn what it takes to thrive in a world where “extreme” is the starting line.
