Dog Whisperer

A San Francisco senior-dog rescue is using an unlikely “employee” to help more dogs get adopted: a cat named Little Dude, their “Director of Feline Relations.” Each day he “cat-scans” dogs to see how well they do around cats—answering the top adopter question and opening more cat-friendly homes. Staff say the creative approach is saving lives, and Little Dude’s compensation is paid entirely in treats.
