How the UCF police department is trying to eliminate officers’ implicit bias

For the past six years, the University of Central Florida Police Department has hired Dr. Lorie Fridell, a University of South Florida criminology professor and a national expert on implicit bias, to train officers to recognize, acknowledge and eliminate bias.
