Expansion of so-called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ law will only ‘clarify’ existing standards, Florida says

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday held a news conference at a high school in Clay County to tout enrolment numbers in the state’s Civics Seal of Excellence initiative, a 2022 budget item that activated in January and is meant to reward educators of any subject who go out of their way to teach Civics lessons.
