Battle brews between Bushnell and the Sumter County Sheriff's Office

In Sumter County, a back-and-forth between the city of Bushnell and the sheriff's office has been brewing. Things have escalated, and the sheriff says his agency will end its contract to provide services to the city on March 31, 2026.
