Stabbing suspect shot, killed by law enforcement in Volusia County, sheriff’s office says

Volusia deputies and police shot and killed someone who charged at them with a knife in a home near Daytona Beach on Saturday, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies responded around 9:30 p.m. to a stabbing reported out of the 1400 block of Derbyshire Road, locating two people with multiple stab wounds — a 16-year-old boy and a 39-year-old man — and learning the suspect was still inside the residence, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said on social media.
