Merritt Island Christmas boat parade will go on, after last year's high-profile crash

Merritt Island’s Christmas boat parade will take place in 2025.  With no official sponsors this year, officials told News 6 the parade will be organized in a grassroots style. The update comes after last year’s sponsor, Blue Marlin Real Estate, posted to social media on Saturday, saying that the parade was canceled due to ongoing legal and safety concerns.
