Sanford officer fired, arrested in major fraud scheme, chief says

A fired Sanford police officer has been arrested as part of a fraud investigation in which he allegedly scammed the city out of at least five figures, according to the police department. Ronny Neal faces 79 counts of official misconduct and a charge of organized fraud.
