Florida officials, Brevard County residents to meet over Blue Origin rocket wastewater permit

Brevard County residents concerned about Blue Origin's permit request to allow rocket wastewater into the Indian River Lagoon will be able to voice their concerns to Florida environmental officials at a meeting Friday. Blue Origin is trying to renew a permit that allows rocket wastewater from a retention pond to spill into the lagoon, which is currently in a fragile state. There's a concerted effort underway to restore the lagoon, partly funded with a county sales tax.
