Depression collapses Empire Church Road in Lake County

A road collapse is under investigation Monday in Lake County. The depression, estimated to be 200-feet long, 90-feet wide and 50-feet deep, formed early Monday along Empire Church Road, southwest of state roads 50 and 33 in Groveland, according to Lake County officials. Empire Church Road is closed from Bear Lake Road to Edgehill Drive.
