Florida Senate President doesn't expect property insurance reforms this legislative session

Don’t expect major property insurance legislation this session as relief from past reforms is still coming, according to Senate President Ben Albritton. Albritton points to legislation enacted in 2021 and 2022 that eliminated one-way attorney fees and banned assignment of benefits, where contractors would take over policyholder claims.
