‘Didn’t think this one through:’ Volusia sheriff confronts woman accused of scamming thousands

A Georgia woman was booked in Volusia County this week after being accused of taking part in a fraud ring, according to Sheriff Mike Chitwood. In a release, the sheriff’s office announced that the woman — identified as D’Zyre Youngblood, 28, of Atlanta — had played a part “in one of those fraud rings that calls your phone posing as law enforcement.” “They threaten you with jail if you don’t pay thousands,” the release reads.
