Camp Boggy Creek Turns 30: Volunteers Help Kids With Serious Illnesses Experience Camp

Camp Boggy Creek in Central Florida is celebrating 30 years of serving children with serious illnesses and their families, completely free of charge. The camp combines classic summer camp fun, like horseback riding, swimming, fishing, archery, arts and crafts and theater, with behind-the-scenes medical support so campers can safely try new things and build confidence. Camp leaders say volunteers make it all possible, and you do not need a medical background to help.
