I Held a Wild Owl in Florida (Raptor Rescue Up Close)

Wildlife photography usually involves me sitting in a swamp waiting to be disrespected by nature. So today I upgraded and visited ARC (Avian Reconditioning Center) in Apopka, Florida—a place that rehabilitates injured owls, hawks, and falcons. I got closer to raptors than you normally should, learned how rehab actually works, and left with a healthy respect for anything with talons.
