ORLANDO, Fla. – It hasn't been this cool in Central Florida in five months.
"We are experiencing the coolest air of the season -- so far -- Tuesday morning," said News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges, adding that Orlando dipped to 62 degrees overnight. "The last time we dropped below 63 was May 8."
Afternoon high temperatures in Orlando will be near the upper 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
"Rain chances will be out of the picture for the week, except on Friday, when a new front moves in," Bridges said.
Thursday's high will be in the mid-80s, with morning lows in the 60s.
"Afternoon highs by the end of the week still be in the mid-80s, but rain chances will be 20 percent for Friday, Saturday and Sunday," Bridges said.
Sunday's high is expected to be 82.
