ORLANDO, Fla. – Hurricane Jose is spinning in the Atlantic, but where will the storm end up?

Jose is 450 miles north-northeast of Grand Turk Island, with maximum sustained winds of 85 mph, putting it at a Category 1 storm. The hurricane is moving northeast at 6 mph.

"The official track has Jose circling around until the weekend, and then making a turn to the north," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Most models keep it away from Florida and the U.S. altogether as it makes a sharp turn to the north and away, although some show it coming closer to the Sunshine State."

Hurricane Irma ravaged Florida over the weekend, destroying homes, knocking out power to millions and causing flooding in numerous cities.

Meanwhile, there is a low-pressure system in the open Atlantic trying to develop, but it only has a 10 percent chance of developing within the next five days.
