Another chilly start in Central Florida, but weekend warmup on the way

Highs rebound to upper 70s Friday

Glimpses of fall on a gorgeous day in north Florida.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Friday will mark the transition day between our blast of fall and more seasonable days.

Sunshine will help push afternoon high temperatures in the Orlando area back into in the mid-to-upper 70s.

By Saturday afternoon, most of Central Florida will return to the low 80s.

Highs climb into the mid-80s on Sunday.

Average high temperatures for late October are in the mid-80s.

Dry weather sticks around through the weekend. Limited rain chances arrive early next week.

Meantime, there is nothing brewing in the tropics, but there is a slight chance for some development off the southeast coast of the U.S. over the weekend. Florida will not be affected if development occurs.
