ORLANDO, Fla. – After a cold start Monday across Central Florida, temperatures will ramp up quickly as winds veer onshore from the east-southeast into the afternoon.
Expect highs in the Orlando area to warm above average, in the mid- to upper 70s, under mostly sunny skies.
As we progress through the week, a warming trend and a more humid weather pattern will continue as a large ridge of high pressure maintains control. Highs each afternoon are expected to run in the upper 70s.
By Thursday afternoon, a weakening cold front will push south of the area with little fanfare as highs stay in the upper 70s.
The same front will stall a bit before lifting back north on Friday.
A weak area of low pressure is forecast to develop along it, increasing moisture levels for your weekend. Expect rain chances to sit at 40-50% with a chance of a few thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday.
Enjoy the weather!
