Florida temps spring back into 70s. How long will the cooldown last?

Highs in the 70s and low 80s Monday

ORLANDO, Fla. – The 90s from the weekend will be going away for a little while behind a cold front that dipped into Central Florida.

The front brought much-needed rain to parts of Central Florida overnight.

Gradually, drier air will move in, helping to deliver more sunshine by the afternoon. It will turn breezy through Monday, with wind gusts at times pushing 25 mph.

Highs on Monday top out in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Tuesday will start off in the 50s and 60s. It will remain relatively cool but extremely pleasant, with highs topping out around 80 degrees.

A gradual warming trend returns by the middle of the week, sending temperatures back into the mid-80s.

Most of the week appears to be dry.

The cooler weather will bring some relief to allergy sufferers with the pollen count holding steady in the moderate category for the week ahead.
