Under mostly sunny skies, highs return to the lower 90s, although a couple of showers will be possible near I-75.

Rain chances increase a little Wednesday and Thursday, but will continue to favor areas west of Orlando.

Future radar for Wednesday

Highs will gradually heat back up into the mid- to upper 90s into the weekend.

So when will rain chances finally go up on a widespread scale?

Indications are early next week, during the second of week of June, Florida could tap into some tropical moisture from the Gulf of Mexico.

Next week rainfall potential Tuesday through Thursday

It’s too early to tell where exactly the heaviest rain will fall or if a tropical system could develop out of that, but there are at least signs of a wetter pattern change coming.

Tropical update

No new development is expected over the next seven days.
