Cooler than normal overnight in Florida. Here’s the forecast for your Easter egg hunt

Fire threat remains high in Orlando area

ORLANDO, Fla. – The big weather story in Central Florida on Wednesday is the large plume of dry air settling in behind a cold front.

That means the fire weather threat remains high across all off Central Florida.

This time of the year, make sure you are extra mindful of any outdoor burning.

Fire Danger - Wednesday

With the low humidity values, the weather will be feeling very comfortable across town, with highs in the low 80s inland and upper 70s along the coast.

Wednesday night, things get a little cooler than normal for this time of year — most areas will dip into the 50s, and a few of our usual cold spots might even flirt with the upper 40s.

Lows Thursday Morning

It’s looking like a beautiful stretch of weather through Saturday, with plenty of sunshine and no major systems to worry about.

By Easter Sunday we’ll see a few more clouds, but nothing that should dampen those annual Easter egg hunts.

Easter Weekend

Over the next few days, highs will climb, reaching near 90 degrees by the weekend.

Things start to get a little trickier in the forecast after the weekend. The setup looks complex and the models aren’t in total agreement yet, so confidence is a bit lower than usual.

For now, most models are trending a bit wetter, with a slim chance (20-30%) of showers by Tuesday and Wednesday.
