Tuesday

Once we get past the morning fog, expect the weather to be pretty quiet.

Some drier air will settle in behind Monday’s front. A few spotty showers will be possible (20%), but expect a mainly dry afternoon.

Temps will be near or slightly below normal, making for a mild, pleasant afternoon.

This Week

A ridge of high pressure starts to build from the Gulf, keeping conditions mostly dry and warm.

Highs will be in the mid- to upper 80s on Wednesday, then push into the upper 80s to low 90s by Thursday.

Weekend

The heat continues to build as high pressure locks in over Florida.

Expect temperatures to crank up even further, with daytime highs climbing into the mid-90s for many spots, closing in on record levels.

The coast won’t get much relief either, since winds will be light and keep that warm air parked over most of the area.

Rain chances look slim to none into early next week, so plan on staying cool and hydrated if you’re spending time outdoors.
