LEESBURG, Fla. – A waterspout formed near Lake Griffen in Leesburg just before 8 p.m. Monday night.
Debbie Potter captured the phenomenon on video as the sun was setting Monday evening.
According to the Leesburg fire department, the waterspout remained over the lake while it was in contact with the ground. No damage has been reported.
The waterspout formed as a line of storms moved through Lake County.
