WATCH: Strong storms spark ominous cloud in Central Florida

LADY LAKE, Fla. – Another round of strong storms moved through Central Florida on Wednesday night.

This time, the focus was west of Orlando.

During the storms, an anonymous PinIt user captured video of an ominous cloud in Lady Lake near The Villages.

If you look closely, you can see the cloud formation rotating. This formation is known as a wall cloud.

Wall clouds sometimes go on to produce funnel clouds and tornadoes.

No tornadoes developed Wednesday night.

The tornado threat in Central Florida was very low in Central Florida Wednesday night.

On any given day when sea breeze boundaries are colliding, there can be shifting winds, which can briefly cause a storm to rotate.

The sea breeze develops from land heating up faster than the surrounding water. This is a focal point for the near-daily afternoon Florida thunderstorms.
