LIVE RADAR: Widespread storms return to Central Florida

Storms get early start Tuesday

ORLANDO, Fla. – It will still be hot and humid — it is Central Florida in July — but thanks to extra clouds and widespread storms, it will at least feel a little better.

Expect a much different thunderstorm pattern through Wednesday morning, with storm chances happening at different times when compared to a typical Central Florida day.

Other than a stray storm for the evening, most of Central Florida will dry out.

Rain chances remain high Wednesday at 70%.

Highs both Tuesday and Wednesday will hover in the upper 80s and lower 90s with increased cloud cover and widespread nature of the storms.

We will flip the weather pattern again by the weekend, with heat becoming the big weather factor as heat indices soar back to near Heat Advisory status Saturday and Sunday.
