MARION COUNTY, Fla. – Several flash flood warnings were in effect across Marion County Tuesday morning as a batch of heavy rain slowly drifts south.
Early reports show rainfall totals of more than 4 inches of rainfall near Ocala through Sparr in Marion County.
Areas within the warning area could see an addition 1-2 inches of rainfall through the morning.

This stormy pattern looks to continue through the day as a weakening cold front sags into northern Florida.
Expect an increasing chance for rain Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with coverage staying elevated to 70%.
