ORLANDO, Fla. – Rain chances stay elevated this week along the coast (40-50%), where fast-moving showers could rack up decent rain.
Further inland, conditions on Wednesday are expected to be a bit drier, with rain chances at 20-30%.
Temperatures are on the rise, with highs climbing into the upper 80s to low 90s each day. By the weekend, heat indices could return to 100-105 degrees.
Winds will remain out of the northeast at 10–15 mph, although they will be stronger along the Volusia coast.
Looking ahead, the unsettled pattern continues into early next week, with storm chances increasing northward as deeper tropical moisture moves back in.
While there may be a few dry stretches, more widespread rain and storms are likely by late Sunday and Monday.
