Fall preview: Comfortable mornings before temps reach mid-to-upper 80s

Rain chances rise in Orlando area later in week

ORLANDO, Fla. – The comfortable and dry weather in Central Florida will continue for a few more days, but changes are on the horizon.

Rain chances remain low through Wednesday, with only a few isolated showers.

Most areas will see partly cloudy weather, with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 and cooler mornings in the 60s and 70s.

Highs Monday

A low-pressure system spinning off the East Coast is stirring up the surf on Monday.

With strong onshore winds and ocean swells, the rip current risk is extremely high across Central Florida beaches.

Beach Forecast

By mid- to late week, moisture levels start to ramp up.

A slow-moving front will lift north across Florida, pulling deep tropical moisture into the region. At this point, rain chances are expected to rise to 40-60% into the weekend.

Rain Chances This Week

Forecast models show the potential for 1-2 inches of rain over the next few days across far southern neighborhoods in Brevard and Osceola County.

Throughout the week, temperatures will stay near to slightly below normal.
