ORLANDO, Fla. – This weekend won’t be a total loss, but an unsettled weather pattern will send scattered tropical downpours through Central Florida.
The theme of the weekend will be drier west and wetter east as a gusty wind off the Atlantic Ocean helps push downpours into Central Florida.
The heaviest rain looks to focus right along the coast, where a flood watch remains in effect.
Like the last couple of days in Cantal Florida, in between scattered downpours, breaks in the clouds will be likely.
There will be a slightly higher chance for rain, especially along the coast and east of Interstate 4 Sunday.
Highs top out in the mid-to-upper 80s west of Orlando and the lower 80s closer to the coast.
