Warm week on tap for Central Florida. Check out Candace Campos’ forecast

Orlando area to see highs near 80 degrees

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is stepping into a stretch of warm weather this week, but the bigger story may be what’s brewing for late November and early December.

MONDAY

A fading cold front will slide into Central Florida on Monday and then fall apart by nighttime, keeping temperatures seasonably warm.

Other than early morning fog, expect a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

TUESDAY-WEDNESDAY

As high pressure settles over the Carolinas by Tuesday, Florida will pick up a bit more moisture, allowing additional fog to develop overnight.

Highs will remain above normal, in the low 80s.

OUTLOOK

A strong ridge overhead later this week will keep the weather calm and mostly sunny after any early fog burns off.

Highs will reach the upper 70s to mid-80s, while lows sit in the upper 50s to upper 60s.

Some forecast guidance supports a cold front arriving late Sunday or Monday, but moisture levels appear too low for meaningful rain, keeping rain chances less than 10% through Thanksgiving.

THANKSGIVING

Large-scale atmospheric patterns continue to support a warm and drier-than-normal setup for Florida through late November.

However, some long range models show the possibility of a stronger cold front reaching the state just after Thanksgiving.

While no major cooldown is locked in yet, early December could bring the first meaningful front of the season.
